As part of our core mission to encourage and support mindfulness of our connection to each other and to our planet, we've created the Six Degrees of Connection program. This program allocates 10% of our profits towards funding other businesses that will have a positive impact in their community without hurting the environment. We carefully select candidates to participate in the Six Degrees of Connection program who are thoughtful, socially conscious, environmentally responsible, and economically sustainable. Then we help provide them with the funding they need to accomplish their goals and make a difference in their community. And the best part? Our customers get to decide who receives this money!

The concept is simple: after you register your Revolve product on our website, we present you with the current Six Degrees of Connection funding candidates and you get to vote for your favorite. Through our program, you'll meet the candidates, discover who they are, and find out how they want to help. Then, you will have the opportunity to direct Revolve's profits towards the candidate of your choosing. We track our customers' votes throughout the year and distribute assistance to the candidates every six months in proportion to the votes they receive. Thus, by purchasing Revolve products and participating in our Six Degrees of Connection, you are empowered with the ability to support and become interconnected with people who want to make a positive difference around the globe.

The first iteration of the Six Degrees of Connection program has experienced some delays but will get underway shortly after the newest members of our product line -- the Rescue series and the Sol-sport series -- launch in 2012...so stay tuned for your chance to make a difference.
